Walking race in the mountains
The first Sunday of August.

Departure point and arrival point are at the Plan du Lac between St Christophe en Oisans and la Bérarde.

Circuit :

Downlaod the circuits profil (12 and 20 kms)

  • 12 kms - 450 m altitude difference - from cadets to veterans - yellow markers - start at 9am

  • 20 kms - 950 m altitude difference - junior to veterans - red/pink markers - start at 8:30am

Registration

Registration is confirmed once the Tourist Office has received the completed registration form and :
  • Registration form: download the form
  • Medical certificate or licence.
  • Payment of 9 € (or 6.50 € received 48 h before the race).
    • Cheques must be made out to Office de Tourisme and sent to :
    Office de Tourisme 38520 St Christophe en Oisans.

Under 18s must bring a signed authorisation slip by a parent or legal guardian.

Starting numbers are given out as :
  • from the day preceding the race from 2pm to 6pm
  • or directly on the day (Sunday) between 7:15am and 8:15am.

Each participant will receive a tee-shirt.

Prize-giving as from 2pm (and following the arrival of the last competitors).
One podium per category (and only if there are 3 partipants in the category).
A prize draw for each participant.

For each circuit there will be an overall ranking : male and female podium.

Lunch :
Supplied by the Gîte de Plan du Lac.
Not included in the registration fee.


Rules:

  • The organisers will not be held responsible for any personal injury through accident or physiological injury, whether immediate or developing later on that participants might sustain during the race.

  • Civil responsibility insurance:
    The organisation has an insurance policy with AXA Assurances in Bourg d'Oisans.

  • Personal individual accident:
    Those who have a licence are covered by the licence insurance ; other participants must take out personal insurance.

  • Medical certificate:
    No-one may begin the race without a medical certificate.

  • The organisation reserves the right to use all photos of competitors taken during the race for the promotion of this event without consent and without asking permission.

  • Any competitor must let another pass if caught up, the crossing to St Christophe must be completed by midday or they will be disqualified. If this happens, the competitor will be stopped and taken down by vehicle to the finish.

  • There will be some resupply points along the ciruit (le Puy et Bernardière for the 20 kms race, les Granges for the 12 km race) as well as the Plan du Lac at the finishing line.
    A security and rescue service will be present.

  • There will be an overall ranking for each circuit, and a ranking by category. For joint places the older participant will be declared winner. All the results are available on-line and will be published in the local press.

  • All prizes will be handed out at the prize-giving ceremony. No prize can be received at a later stage, nor accepted by a third party.
