Miroir des Fétoules and Viewpoint Table

A small lake which reflects the Tête des Fétoules.
Enjoy the view at the Peyssa viewpoint table.

L'Alpe du Pin refuge

Round trip possible via the Vallon de la Mariande (5h).
Overnight stay at the refuge is advisable if you wish to explore further up the valley.

Refuge and the Vallon de la Lavey

A very pretty little valley at the foot of the Tête des Fétoules. The path follows the Muande stream.
You will also see the roman Rajas bridge which crosses the turquoise waters of the Vénéon.

A wild little valley winding through the glacial cirque. Stunning view of the Soreiller valley and the Aiguille Dibona which can be seen at the far end.

Chatelleret refuge

Views of the south face of the Meije which are not to be missed.
See the Promontoire refuge perched on the rock face, a base for serious alpine trekking and the mythical traverse of the Meije.
This walk also has impressive views of the Ecrins and the enormous morraine in the Bonnepierre valley.

The Lauvitel Lake

This is where children can get to see marmots, so cameras at the ready.
